The Ace of Cups — usually associated with good things🙃

I just finished watching this reading for my zodiac sign which I thought was rather interesting. I think the most interesting thing about tarot cards is not so much how much a reading can resonate with you. It’s more so — if you believe in it enough, you probably end up manifesting those beliefs and if the law of attraction is as legit as The Secret makes it out to be (not that I’m a huge fan of The Secret but w/e) then like attracts like, at least they say.

I guess the aspect of like attracts like is true, only if you are doing the actual work needed. I thought about certain people around me who believe that if they ‘think’ and manifest the things they want, they will attract it but the thing is — manifestation goes hand in hand with taking action and actually changing a situation. Like, if you repeatedly find yourself in the same situation with the same outcome, then it’s probably time for change. Again, it’s about the actions you need to take in order to bridge the gap between who you are now and who you want to be.

I meditated with my eyes open today. Surprisingly enough, I found it a lot easier to be present oppose to meditating with my eyes closed.

Also, I’ve resumed reading the bible, not that I believe in a God, it’s just that the bible does convey several messages/reminders that I do agree with. I think I got back into it last weekend. I love the story of Proverbs and Ecclesiastes and have recently re-visited those stories within the bible. I’m waiting for several new books to arrive. Reading has definitely helped me feel more calm and relaxed.

Anyway, I should get some sleep. Unfortunately, I have to get up early tomorrow🥴
