The spiritual warrior observes his or her surrounding.
Look around you.
Take a moment.
Now, observe yourself observing.
When you feel happy — do you also notice yourself being happy?
When you feel angry — do you notice yourself growing angry?
Go beyond everyday awareness because this is necessary to understand who you really are.
Realise that we are surrounded by ignorance, attachment and myre — the illusion of permanance created by constantly changing and transmuting forms;
From the formless and to form and back again to the formless in an endless cycle.
Recognise that we are human robots not awake to our own observations — reacting without thinking to our impulses and feelings.
We are saturated by things and ideas that weigh us down and distract us from what’s most important.
The very act of awareness will set you on the path towards being a spiritual warrior, and conquering the darkness within and around you.
Pay close attention to your thoughts, actions and beliefs.
When you observe yourself and what’s happening around you;
When you observe without judgement;
When you take a stand as the witnessing observer of mind, body and the world all as a unified experience in yourself — pure consciousness;
Then there is spontaneous insight, intuition, creativity, vision and evolution of consicousness in the direction of truth, goodness, beauty, harmony, love, compassion, joy, equanimity and unlimited creativity.
